BAIC "will furnish" etc. meaning, I take it, in the (hopefully near) future. This agreement is for prototypes which once supplied must be tested, probably tweaked, and then retested. My guess would be a couple of years before we get a significant order if one ever materializes.
It seems to me that this is a positive development---the discouraging part is that this should have been done about ten years ago instead of insisting that the products were "production ready".
