Two faces of today's Repub party...
One is Repub governors who live in the REAL world, such as Virginia's Repub Gov McDonnell who said yesterday he doesn't support the effort of his Repub-majority to rig elections. Indiana's Repub Gov Mike Pence, former conserv congressman and traveling companion of Paul Ryan, now as gov is also forced to face reality - this week Pence said "our budget proposes an increase in funding for education, including full-day kindergarten, and we will fully fund the teachers' pension for the next three years". And this week Lousiania's Repub Gov Jindall faced reality and nailed it when he called today's Repub party "stupid".
The other is Rince Preibus, re-elected this week as Chair of the RNC inspite of Repubs losing THREE presidential races - 2 times to a muslim/a foreigner/a Kenyan/an American-hater/fill in your own name-calling. Prince believes Repubs problem is Repub pols don't smile enough and believes the remedy for connecting with the Am public is to smile more, be happy - never suggesting nat'l Repubs join the REAL world!
