Vaal Reefs has acquired from AAC and Amgold for a consideration of 416,400 shares, certain mineral rights contiguous to both Beatrix and Oryx, as well as certain mineral rights within and contiguous to Evander Mines. Vaal Reefs has agreed to exchange these rights for Gencor's 77.6% in Weltevreden Mines. Further, Anglos have agreed to exchange certain mineral rights in the Evander area for Gencor's 66.2% in "Area One East". Technical advisers report that recoverable gold in Weltevreden and "Area One East" is matched by that in the mineral rights areas of Beatrix, Oryx, and Evander.
