CABG HGS occlusions. The proposed "fixes" to this problem in response to the Australian study did not sound very robust to me. Still, the device might fly if they can keep the rate down, since occlusion is untimately a common outcome for traditional bypass anyways. A nice alternative approach, however, might be to use tissue engineering technology to promote rapid endothelial ingrowth (eg photolink attachment of ECM proteins/peptides).
