Let's hope any short covering is not because some large holders are closing long positions..
It's hard for me to comprehend..that any financial manager..or fund manger..handling millions of investor money..would invest large sums of money (Millions)..in a struggling penny stock without some type of hedge..they wouldn't be in business or have a job long..

We will soon know when the major holdings ending 12/31 are filed, if any of last quarters short covering was due to hedging long positions..

An old article I read about short interest..explained..you may have better luck reading tea leaves than accurately interpreting short-interest numbers. Stocks are shorted for many various reasons..
