Sunny...in that same vein, I seem to recall seeing some data from a few different sources that indicate QDots can not only have a + or - charge but can be tuned to achieve a neutral charge/state as well...handy-dandy for switching components (& whatever?) I should think....*indeed; I had to look it up but here are a few examples:
