I think falling gasoline prices augurs better for christmas retail season. Folks wont face the big heating bills until mid-jan to mid-feb. Cars are dead until promotions come back. Real Estate topping and even falling a bit as mortgage rates march to 7%. Plenty of money to be spent on other stuff with these big purchases being slowed. Mike

PS By the way we have another week of 65-72 daytime temps coming in the East too.
