FYI, he recommended that trade only for a small portion of the portfolio for aggressive traders. It was a horrible call because of the lack of a stop, but many of his followers are conservative mutual fund holders who would never consider themselves "aggressive traders" and probably are very cash rich vs. most people (he constantly has callers call in and thank him for getting them out near the top). IMO, that's a huge amount of sideline cash...

Despite his failings, I for one subscribe to Brinker's newsletter and follow his calls and bought a lot today (covering shorts and going long some QQQ), though I may not hold for more than a day or two, as I'm not a long-term investor in this bear market. I also followed him into that earlier failed QQQ trade, but I stopped out long ago for a limited loss...
