Sam Stosur is ambidextrous. She plays
right-handed but writes with her left.

I do too but I don't consider myself ambidextrous because I can't do things equally well with either hand...except use a hammer. I'm rock solid both left and right-handed with a hammer. lol

Now that you mention it, I remember Sam and her battle with Lyme disease. Very tough for her, or any athlete for that matter.

The mental edge

Stosur's steely composure in the US Open final showed how far she has come mentally, compared with her nervy loss in the French Open final in 2010.

That's what I love most about her. She's no drama queen. She just always plays tennis...no excuses, no cranking!!
