it seems to me we have a couple more like that ..
they keep posting the same dramatic things now, for years and years .. .never much change ..just repetition ..
we're rotten (always) (obama in particular) (democrats who voted for him) etc.. . he kills thousands of people .. locks them up in dark holes that we don't even know about (and neither do they) ... .. PLUS he's doing it to 'citizens' of our 'great country' ... and it's against everything .. the constitution (even though it's come up and will again in the courts) .. human rights and dignity! ... . and he's worse than bush. Well, sheeesh.. I can sort of hear what they're saying .. but I'm sorry I have the 'details' .. and I understand them and give them credence .. which they do not . .they gloss over those details .. plus they make it that 'Obama' writes these bills ... and of course you and I know that he does not! do they get mad at the ones who write the bills? .. not really, it's mostly crickets there ... and we also know that the most controversial ones that he signed .. he also made strong 'signing statements' and attached them to the bills ... just as he did most recently .. but you see .. That's a 'detail' .. and that's the stuff they ignore .. they think it's easy to get all spending bills through congress ... HA! ... . as if republicans are gonna write a clean defense authorization bill EVER! .. . and another thing ... . do you think for one minute that they would support Obama IF he made a big show out of 'vetoing' these bills? ... HELL NO they WON'T! .. they'll attack him for that too ... plus they never supported him in the first place .. I remember his first attempt at closing Guantanamo ... who was behind him? ... Who supported him? Did the citizens go to the offices of the people who write this junk? Or did they go up and chain themselves to the white house fence to show support for Obama? .. Hell NO they didn't ! .. did they go to the senators/congress critters office and berate them? sit in their offices and demand that they let Guantanamo close? .. again, no they didn't. They just attacked him .. for not being able to get any support to get them to pass the bill .. or to even open up the prison in Illinois .. ! ... . and then to me, all this wiretapping etc... . being an effective warrior in the war on those who want to kill Americans ... . Do you also think for one darn minute that IF he had done that and IF some of them had gotten through .. . and there was a terrorist attack in the country .. do you think they would have stood with him? ... LOLOL! .........I don't think so, they would have blamed him for all the bush policies that he stopped! .. .why personally I would have been afraid for his life .. . they would have called him a traitor .. etc. .etc.. and worse! ... . so for me it's gets tiresome ... greenwald/hedges & all the old retired paleocons.. .. etc..... over and over again ... ignoring all the details .... and unsuccessfully trying to rile up more obama hate. Yes, they were/are not successful, Obama was reelected .. by a Big Margin! ... the people are not as blind as they think ... there is a whole bunch of people out there who see Obama's efforts to do the right thing over and over again .. and they saw the reception or lack of reception and respect and the lack of ALL support FOR HIM! ... as he was out there all alone .. .trying .... damn. All Alone!.... and
about the drones ... too bad no one can talk about it in a reasonable way... realistically. It's all as if innocent people never got killed by our military people ... yep, only drones kill innocent people now ... of course I think it's wrong .. I think it's wrong when it happens in WAR period. But happen it does .. I have never read about any war where innocent people didn't get killed and lots of them ... Just look at Syria... no .......don't. As a selfish woman in this country, I am glad that our soldiers are killing less people and that they are not sent to all these 'weird' places (yemen... etc.. bahrain, some places anywhere etc. ) .. The drones are effective. They are even cost effective in the long run. And they are better for the environment than having a military all over with fuel needing to be supplied to them.... . .NOW? do I like it that we are in the entire situation? .. The 'war on terror' ? ... NO. Not one bit. but we are in it ... and I believe that as long as that is the case .. by GOD I want to fight it as effectively as We can ... . so far ..that's drones. The future is still out on it ... I'm talking the courts ... so we shall see, just like we saw on the wiretapping Americans .. .and all that stuff before .. until then .... I'm not spending my entire life getting upset every time one of our drones kill people ... War is ALWAYS BAD! and I could be wrong but I believe Obama is trying to get us out of much of it ... .I've lived through thirteen years of the 'war on terror' ... another twenty will be rough ... . but there's a strong possibility that this war will be fought in different ways in the not too distant future .. until then .. . I'll keep on voting for the ones I think hold my beliefs the most ... . sorry for the rant ... . but, these thoughts have been in my head for years now ... ;)
