Lance... Do you happen to know WHO paid $50,000 to the company?

Below is the press release on August 1.

"Attempts to agree to compensation of $2,000,000 for damages have foundered on the issue of criminal liability. The company accepted $50,000 as a partial payment to cover initial investigation expenses and as part of an overall settlement for damages."


I did not pay attention to this discussion. Some people say that SACM paid the company $50,000 for damages. I do not know if that is correct information.


"Criminal liability" by whom?
The SACM or the Carter Care Inc. or who else?
