I very seriously doubt that Saddam, his family and minions really want to die.

Using WMD (the ones he doesn't have, of course) would be suicide for him and his "elite" Republican Guard.

What will happen to the $$$ Billions he has stolen from the Iraqis? ... why not just take a UN sanctioned exile deal in the South of France?
