I only know people who knew people. I don't see how this is germane to the topic at hand.

If I had answered yes, I had a friend or family member who was killed I still don't see how that would be relevant.
Loss, anger, fear, revenge? Naturally, I might feel any or all of those things, still it would not justify a freewheeling international bombing spree to take out anyone and everyone who I felt posed a threat to my existance.
