The halves are winners at $13 apiece...The price on silver statehood quarters are dependent on the buyer. I absolutely refuse to sell slabbed ones for less than $9.99. Mint issueing clad versions is counterproductive imo as people have to handle them to verify exact weight. This is a shame because they make such excellent ~1/5th ounce silver ounces...and see some value in circulation. This would be a logical first step toward bi-monetary system that provides some protection to the savings of those americans on a fixed income. Hey while we are about it lets get rid of pennies and nickels altogether and make dimes 1/10th oz silver. The mint needs to get back in business of making precious metals available to the public, and paying for itself in the process. Happy New Year TB! S~P
