Thelin Which Pfizer acquired via their Encysive acqiosotopm is the selective ERA that was pulled or voluntarily withdrawn (don't recall for sure which). I don't know enough about the disease or science to know if an ERA and ARB will work. I'm sure Martin has done his research and thinks it will. I would just like to see data on both safety and efficacy. I haven't checked to see the dose and how the safety of the Pharmacopoeia/Ligand was in trials so could turn out to not be an issue. Someone on twitter pointed out proteinuria may not be an underlying cause. I think it may turn out to be a bit harder than it seems to get a safe/efficacious treatment.

Anyway I don't wish him bad for patients would be nice if it worked. Just too risky for me at this stage. On to ARWR .
