...and the Bushmaster assault rifle was orogonally developed for our soldiers in the VietNam war.
Once the war ended, the mfgr modified it very slightly and got the NRA to tell easily-scared people they "need" to shoot 100 rounds to "protect" themselves. The NRA marketing worked well - now the NRA is telling easily-scared people they "need" armed teachers and principals. What's next? armed guards to protect the armed teachers and principals? Who's going to protect the armed guards?
