I Can't Afford The Kiln :)

Thanks for your thoughts. I do appreciate them.

No, I am not going to melt my sterling seeing how I cannot afford the kiln. Also, you are correct that selling a third party sterling bar might be somewhat difficult.

From what I understand, some melt the sterling and create ingots which tend to sell for decent prices. In order to do this, I think one would first need to establish credibility. This could be done via a video detailing the process or possibly from a number of credible testimonials.

Anyway, I cannot afford the kiln. I do not have custom molds, and more than anything I just do not have a ton of sterling. If I did have the sterling, the money, and the resources I would at least try to develop it as a hobby.
