The rules are essentially the same as the 2012 contest except that entries will be accepted much later—until the end of the day on 1/14/13—which means contestants can wait until after the JPM conference to submit their entries. The tradeoff for waiting to submit your entries is that your starting price for each selected stock will be the current price when you submit rather than the closing price on 12/31/12.
p.s. I think allowing contest entries during a period as long as two weeks is a bad idea, but I don’t make the rules.
