TD Ameritrade is allowing trades!!!
As recieved from TD Ameritrade's Nate Theisen as of 10:24 am Friday December 21st, and I quote:

Our risk management group has decided to lift the trading restriction for SNDY. You can place an order at this time. However, they did caution me that if the stock is on the next DTC Chill list that comes in January, the trade restriction we be added again. Please reply if we can further assist you.

I have not been able to purchase, I had some shopping and wrapping to do. I will get some early next week.
