nice post.. not all proposed open pit mines are equal
lots of overburden makes a big difference. just because they had planned on going the open pit route on future expansions doesn't make it feasible or as economically attractive as Nemegosenda

the point of my post was to refute Newbie_Niobium's claim that Niobec was open pit because it definitely is not
