Catalent formerly was the Pharmaceutical Technologies and Services segment of Cardinal Health. Blactstone bought them out around 1997. They (at leaast used to) have a solid formulations and drug delivery technology, and many (smaller) biotechs use them for various aspects of pill design and production, including filling of capsules and related efforts related to CMC.

UMN Pharma is a Japanese company located in Yokohama prefecture. I know very little about their operations.
