AMJ, This post of yours makes NO sense at all.

You can't have the pie and eat it.

Offor will be able to pick up shares not spoken for, and will own even more of the company.

So he sees some potential in the stock, right?

If Offor doesn't participate, they don't have enough of the existing shareholder's to fund the offering which would then fail.

He will not participate if he sees no potential. But he already participates. If his views will change, then other investors can take over. If nobody sees potential anymore, it doesn't matter in the end, does it?

Any serious 'prospect' will make sure there will be an interested party, certainly ONSHORE, amj....
