Because the Saudis are our "allies".....
The Admin has spent unknown resources trying to inculpate Iraq in 9/11 and with Al Qaeda, in general. They continually try to convince the American people that some culpability exists, as well, tho they offer no tangible facts. In the absence of fact, the Admin tries to confuse the issue with much insinuation regarding Saddam, 9/11, and Al Qaeda. Is it any wonder the Bush Admin has lost credibility with so many at home, and abroad??... There are longterm ramifications of such credibility loss....
Perhaps the Admins efforts should have been directed at Saudi Arabia, and maybe a few other MEastern so-called "allies"??...
