Miller PR Expands its Leadership in Digial Entertainment with Executive Promotions, New Hire and Office Expansion

Miller PR (http://www.miller-pr.com), one of the premier PR agencies specializing in Digital Entertainment today announced two key executive promotions and a continued expansion of the agency with a new senior hire and new offices. Industry veteran Jennie Kong is promoted to Senior Vice President following her leadership and growth of the company’s Digital Entertainment division over the past two years, while Mark Lindsey is promoted to Account Supervisor in Technology after successfully leading key technology brand campaigns in 2012. Eddie Garcia joins the Miller PR team from Cohn & Wolfe as an Account Supervisor specializing in Consumer PR.

The executive moves come after a highly successful year that saw the agency continue to evolve as a go-to agency for digital entertainment, media and technology companies that are looking to engage consumers on new media platforms and build brand awareness amongst audiences in Hollywood, Silicon Valley, Madison Avenue and Wall Street. In 2012 the agency spearheaded digital entertainment campaigns for TV Guide Digital, Sony Digital, The Banff World Media Festival, FunnyorDie.com and a number of online multi-channel networks and You Tube Channels, including Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry, Stan Lee’s World of Heroes and Jon M. Chu’s DS2DIO.

“I’m thrilled to be continuing to develop the senior leadership of the company with executives who bring such immense passion and proven expertise to our clients,” said Dawn Miller, CEO and Founder of Miller PR. “We are very proud of our success in the digital entertainment field and are firmly committed to continuing our growth in this specialized industry.”

As SVP of Digital Entertainment, Jennie Kong will continue to oversee corporate and consumer PR strategy for clients and in addition her role will expand to encompass more companywide managerial responsibilities. “In representing 2012’s most disruptive digital firms, elite content creators and entrepreneurs, we have been able to carve out a strong niche as a go-to agency to handle multi-layered complex brand stories. Many of our partners are paving the way for the future of the digital entertainment industry, it’s an honor to work with such talented business people.”

On a day to day basis Kong will lead a team of PR professionals working with key clients including Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment, Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry, Dailymotion, Demand Media, TV Guide Digital, Starlight Runner Entertainment, Chill.com, among others. Account Supervisors Mark Lindsey and Eddie Garcia will lead client accounts that bridge between the technology and consumer PR sectors. Miller PR has become known for its work representing disruptive digital media companies, start-up tech firms, elite talent and content creators as well as interactive entertainment labels and creative agencies.

Headquartered in West Hollywood, the company recently re-modeled its offices to provide room for its expansion. Miller PR now employs 15 staff having grown from a staff of two when established in 2008.
