Ron, I have done searches. There is an inconsistency in the story, inasmuch as the two parts of the post are alleged to have been published in Florida newspapers. Further, I don't recollect the facts as alleged regarding the driver's photo.

My point is that if you are not making an original post, or are quoting from elsewhere, you have an obligation to say that.

It was tying the essay, which one can find on the web from Jan. 2002, to a current court case (and I question the facts in that case).

You might recollect, it is not possible to prove a negative -- had you considered there is no way to verify the story because it simply is not true?

Perhaps it is you who need to lighten up. I was not commenting on the OPINION, I was questioning the FACTS AS PRESENTED. I cannot imagine you having a problem with that.
