Not so fast. Dexela is the largest producer of X-Ray Detectors which are used not only in science but also on food and pharma production lines. Not long ago most production lines were composed of all metal components and all you needed was metal detection of finished packages. With so many plastics and composites now being used X-Ray inspection is widely used. PKI bought Dexela last year.

While the wsj is not exactly right, it's not exactly wrong either.
