Greetings terryt,

I love to meditate on God's Word and I'm always amazed how He shows more and more of Him when I do that.

Incidentally:

Light and darkness cannot coexist. If you are in darkness, all you have to do is turn the switch on and the light will cause darkness to recede. Yet, if you are in the Light, there is no possible switch that you can turn on and cause darkness to appear and push the light away.

When we are in the darkness (our worries, fears, concerns, doubts) and turn on the Light of Jesus, darkness (worries, fears, concerns, doubts) just ceases to exist. And as long as we dwell in the Light (with Jesus), no power of evil can separate us from It. The only way of getting in the darkness (worries, fear, concerns, doubt) is if we turn the Light off, willingly turning our back to Jesus. And yet, even in the darkest of darkness, the switch is still in my reach.

Only Light is active. Darkness is reactive.
