DANG! You're good gp...

I've been mulling over Bush's responses to the reporters at his Thursday press conference. I thought and still think he was superb. He made one gaffe... he knew it... and when the pit bulls started yammering out questions he shut them up with a frown and a shake of the head... just kept going. The media bottom feeders backed off.

Loved the fact that he would not take the bait when one tried to ask him if his goal was to kill Hussein... he just repeated what he had said all along. We are going to change regimes.

My respect for him grows. For once, I am proud of a vote that I cast. He is an adult who accepts the profound responsibility of his office and is doing what he thinks must be done to protect the people he leads. I agree with what he's doing...

My only problem is impatience. Wish they would just go in and get it over with. We have been doing the diplomatic dance for far too long.

Speaking of impatience... can hardly wait until your training is over and you're hanging out with us once again. Miss your style. Until then...
