The float is a minor matter in this case. The fully diluted os includes the float and tells us everything we need to know. Theres no way to find out the current os, and therefore any new dilution between financial reports. The transfer agent used to give out this data but no longer.
The fact is that the only thing aligning our interests with management is the increase in stock price, since their closely held shares are still price dependent. Sure they screw us with their stock options and expense accounts, but the stock options are usually dependent on the price rising.
