one band came across yesterday, with a few sprinkles, but the mountain range i am tucked against got a thorough dusting above about 8000 feet. The storm is quite warm for this time of year, so if we get some decent rain, it would be welcome, at least here on the desert side. Where i am at, the coast range and the Warner Mountains milk most of the rain out of even the heavier clouds before they get here.

The central valley and the coast looks to be getting several inches... the channelized creeks and rivers down there get annoyed when they get too much water too fast. Down on the delta, the rice harvest is done so more water is also welcome. The drivers down there always have trouble with darkness and rain, they act like it is a blizzard or something. Has your drought broken?
