I think that 3% per day is absolutely ridiculously unreasonable. I've been extremely successful since trading full time the last 3+ years (position trading, not daytrading)...

Well, therein lies the explanation. DT has far more potential for greater ROI. I must admit that 3% is still a goal for me, but it is far from unreasonable. When I began tracking the figure, my average for the first 3 months was .96% per day (and I trade every market day). YTD for '03, my average is 2.11% per day. It's all about eating the elephant one bite at a time.
