And you keep harping about being iPad-like device, when iPad has something Clover Trail doesn't. It's the Apple effect. It'll be an iPad-clone to most people.

The "Apple Effect" is dying. Look at Apple's market share in phones and tablets over the last several quarters. Android has been gaining every time the data is remeasured. The only reason Apple continues to post sizable growth is because the phone and tablet market is growing - mostly at the expense of feature phones and cheap laptops. At some point, Android will be 80% of the phone market, and Android/Microsoft will be 80% of the tablet market.

I call it the "Horizontal Effect", and yes - Intel will benefit from it.

Nothing right is about Atom that makes it a recipe for success, and I mean success by meaningful impact for Intel. At $20-25 it DAMN has to be big. Apple-big I have to say. It won't happen without Android prices or iOS "Halo". I assume Silvermont-derivatives might make some impact but this year and the next is dead on arrival.

You will be proven wrong. Consumers love Clover Trail. And businesses REALLY love Clover Trail, because it's the only tablet chip that will run their existing software base. You'll just have to get used to that and give up your ingrained biases. 2013 will be the beginning of the hockey stick trend in market share for Intel in mobile devices.
