Ironically, the system makes use of angular momentum conversion by an object in curved spacetime by contorting the object. Sadly for scifi types, a human sized object near an Earth like object, for each contortion, would only move 10^(-23) meters. At one contortion a second, it would take the swimmer hundreds of thousands of years to move the width of an atom...]
