When I called the Phoenix office, I asked if Southern Copper was looking at buying gold mining company, the girl I was talking to asked me which company I was asking about (which is what you would expect from the IR department as they can't provide false and misleading information) - I told them Southridge Minerals and she stated it was a baseless rumor.
