Not likely now. Big coal, big power utilities, cement manufacturing and chemical plants all need the MVTG CO2 utilization (CCU) technology too badly. Still plenty of great uses for crude oil, like making other organic compounds like plastics. In fact gasoline was a waste product from refineries in the early days!!!

The major plan for CO2 has been to capture it and bury it, but the world has recognized that the CCS (bury it) plan is not sustainable, and has huge legal issues and hurdles.

Ambition with out knowledge is like ship in dry dock. Going nowhere fast!
