Technically they could sell mj assays or mj itself to fund their research much like a biotech might fund an assay for a cancer indication etc while they develop the treatment candidate. So legalization of mj would do a lot for revenue options. And I do mean a LOT. Plus its a great way to hang in there through a terrible economy woo go go go popular vote!
