Sage, Bite your tongue. Where do you get we were in a Bull market, and "it won't last forever." ?? I, personally, have been hurt by the last few years....and without doing anything but watching. (I guess that's why I am one of the stupid ones).

If we are getting into a bear market now, what we must have been enduring is a "blood bath" to some degree.

I've seen a lot of 'blood' being spilled in the market for at least the last 4 years.... 'sides, I am not a "trader", everything I've bought, other than Mutual funds, has been inherited, or acquired while working for the companies.

Would you believe I still have a share certificate from PanAm??
What does that tell you??.

I worked for Periphonics (acquired by Nortel)...luckily I retired 5 years ago, and retired the day I turned 67. Peri used to be a wholly owned subsidiary of Exxon (ESSO in those days),..and recvd shares from them, back then....and I am still holding those.

Sorry, fella, I guess I am not the brightest bulb around, but I can attribute that, perhaps, to senility??....who knows.
