thank god most of my stuff is in a Roth how does a roth work?i have a plain old ira, and i just took my fnf out. i have a huge long term loss with full price fnf i held in my personal acct. i bought a lot of fnf near the bottom, and if fnf go up, i can use the tax losses against the profits. if i left it in the ira, i have to take the profit as taxable income(or so i thought). i do not know the change with a roth. i do not have one.
