You aren't missing anything. For the GREAT majority of the last 5 years, MNTA has been a horrible investment. Lovenox approval came on July 23rd, 2010. Prior to that, it languished for several years between 12-15 pps.

After approval, it popped BRIEFLY to 25. Dew pumped it all the way down from the top to where it is now(22 is a gift, 19 is a gift, 17 is a gift, ect). Prior to approval, he pumped that it could go to as high as 80 pps. His latest pump was a possible buyout based on a lack of 10b5-1 activity, which of course, turned out to be nothing.

Overall MNTA has potential but the risks have always outweighed any possible upside. Most who have chased a gain with MNTA have been burned, and burned badly. For any new investor, it should be viewed as a purely speculative investment.

If you do choose to invest in MNTA, my advice is to do your homework and Do NOT read RMF. Should you go all in on MNTA good luck and god bless. If history is any guide, you will certainly need it.
