Here's what happened for VHC, a similiar company to VRNG:
In March 2010 they won their court case against Microsoft for $106MM, and in May 2010 they settled with Microsoft for $200MM. Notice the really big moves didn't start until late August 2010. They maxed at a $2 Billion market cap, $40+ per share, on a settlement of $200MM. Still has a $1.6 Billion market cap.
