Well certainly I am wiser than the convicted Emax/Mpix felons, I am sure you would agree! That's not very difficult though!
When I looked that World Music Festival website, the first thing that came to mind is that it had enough holes in it that it looked like something one of the Weber stenched companies would come up with! For instance, the crappy web design, but even more, the clear signs that this "event" is nothing:
1) Instead of listing who is appearing (8 weeks from now), it lists who supposedly appeared in prior years! lol That's something out of felon-Roxie's book of tricks, I am sure you would agree! Do I really need to point out that any REAL festival would have a complete list of acts, dates, venues, and links to sites to purchase tickets?
2) Even the first phrase on the Mission page should tell everyone that this is nothing "OUR PLAN IS TO PRODUCE A LIVE CONCERT". Our PLAN? This is 8 weeks away and they are talking about having a PLAN for a worldwide event, and not the actual event itself? lol
3) If a person simply googles the festival name, they will note there is NEXT TO NO mentions of this "festival" at any other place other than the contrived 3rd rate websites that were built for this. That's right, not one press article or music periodical article discussing the so called world festival, not one named act mentioning that they are playing at it, not one mention of tickets being available for ANY of the venues, nor the venue information.
I joked before that this "event" would be Armondo dancing in a thong in felon Roxie's basement, but even that is more likely than any real act performing at this so called festival!
Of course, if MPIX knew this was part of the supposed World Music Festival, it could and should have mentioned it for credibility in May when it was announced, instead of having an "anonymous" lol poster suddenly claim that this is the event MPIX is involved in.
The Rise in Belize or the so called 2012 World Music festival... either way, no difference, no acts, no venues, no tickets, no TV coverage... sounds like a perfect MPIX project because that leads to no revenue!
