heavevy, Typically when a Company does a buyback they will just buy shares back on the open market and then ultimately reduce the # of outstanding ahsres by "retiring" those shares. Iessence what it does is makes the pps go (supply and demand theory) as the more they buy back, the less there are on the market causing the pps to rise. So bottom line, you would just hold your existing shares.
