That's irrelevant. Generally a publication is allowed to protect its sources....but that doesn't apply here. In this case there is no identification of any publication....a message board isn't a "publication". The issue here, if there is one, is whether the information is material non-public information and whether it was provided by someone who had an obligation by law or contract to keep it in confidence. If the SEC cares, they'll find that out.
