"these insiders are idiots"  I don't believe so.  They've relieved a lot of investors of a lot of coin this year.  My best guess is something close to a million dollars, although if the wash trading has been more than I think, that figure could be significantly reduced.  They have managed to avoid any regulatory actions so far while doing this, too, and now, they have investors begging them for "news" (of which there is none) and still trying to believe that the company is about to be awash in oil, and that investors' fortunes would be bolstered if only the company would be a little more open.

That doesn't fit my concept of "idiots".
