I haven't been burned by AAPL although I have been slightly singed. AAPL certainly has to behave prior to earnings. I think the jump today was for the reason you indicated and the overall market euphoria. I'm analyzing management techniques but I'm going to wait until my short strike call has a delta of roughly 18 to 20 before I manage.
