now, there's a thought....bring back the 21 trillion into a country which has a GDP of only $15 trillion.....BRILLIANT!!! yep, it will "help" alright!!!
unfortunately....
1) the report doesn't specify the type of "assets" hidden....
2) but, most importantly, that's a world wide number....not a US number....
3) if all this "money" is "hidden", how does our brilliant economist who wrote the report know how much there is???
ans: he doesn't,,,,he's making a "guesstimate"....
4) and, lastly.....just as the last comment in the article tossed out a huge number that Goldman handled last year, it's 75% BS because I'm certain an inflated number like that includes derivatives.....
that article is like a piece of financial "sensationalism"....
