Actually I have seen insider buying play a negative role. It sometimes signals a desperate attempt to drive PPS and create some buying pressure to absorb debt conversion. I just saw this happen on another stock. Insiders bought and the price shot up several 100% only to tank all the way back down shortly after due to a debtor converting and selling. That said insider buying isn't a negative, but I would proceed with caution.
