I feel it's time to make clear....
why I started this board. Don't be alarmed, everyting's cool, and going well.imo.
I started "investing" the market about 3 years ago. I don't pretend to be a "guru" or authority on the stock market, and don't want others to think that.
By investing I mean, like many other newbies, I dreamed of finding the company with the tech. or idea that would take it from .05 to $5.00!!! The next MSFT. However it didn't take long to find there are few of those available. I decided a while back, after much reading and listening,& losing money that, perhaps, trading would be more profitable. I have since instatuted that plan. lol.
My idea, which has worked fairly well, is to buy high amounts of cheep issuses,(thus the .02 max) and wait until they move just a little and nail the profits. $100. or $200. several times, works out to be the same as the one that hits big, and it's a lot more fun.
Don't get me wrong, I lose on plenty of my picks, but gain on enough to "stay in business" anyway.
Having said that, I would like for everyone to know the goal of "subs" as I see it.
When I post a ticker, it's to let others know, I think it will do well. To help others make a buck or two. I would like to think, everyone else that post here, feels the same way. Not posting one your down on, and need some buyers to grab to get you out of, but rather buy at the same time so all make some money. Or if I let the board know I'm watching this one or that, to have others give their opinion. ie It has a problem of this or that, I like it too, or run away!!!
In other words, it is my goal to have a "group" of traders, that help each other beat the market. Helping you find new tickers, as you return the favor. It's impossible to watch them all. As a group, we can let each other know which ones are looking more active, or have a great pr. ect ect.
As I used to do hours of DD on each of the issues I found. I now like to look at filings to see if there's an R/S or BK, or red flags. I like to know the A/S has a ceiling not unlimited, and the O/S is under 200mil. I like to know what biz. they're in, but the deep stuff, since I only plan to own it a short time, is not as important as this.....I like to put it on the streamer for a while to try and establish a trading pattern. See the highs and lows so as to know aprox. when to buy and when to sell.
As you have seen, I use American Bulls to find tickers. When I post those "list", know that the basic DD is all that's been done. I MISS THINGS sometimes, and am NOT offended in the least, when you post a correction. In fact, that's part of the plan. People helping people, beat a Bear market!!!
That, in a nut shell, is the purpose of this board. I do hope everyone will pitch in, and help us all be winners.
I will NOT lie to any one!! I may make a mistake, but it is against everything I believe in, to intensionally mislead another individual. If I catch myself in a mistake, I'll make it right!! I promise!! Hope you feel the same.
