i think (know) going to a holistic md is an 'excellent' idea .. i believe all diseases except those that require immediate surgeries would do a lot better under a holistic than a traditional md ..
eg if u go to a traditional cardiologist all he/she s gonna do is use u as guinea pig .. ie 'ok lets try these pills .. not working .. ok lets try these then .. feeling nausea .. ok then take some of this .. feeling tired .. ok then try some of this' etc .. a horror show imo ..
i ws thinking about spending 70 to 100g on a surgery which is still pretty new and not proven to b safe .. but it would 'stop' the skipping and arrythmia by 'overhauling' the circuitry in ur heart .. so it 'doesn't' cure the prob .. the prob goes on but u just dont feel its effects ..
instead i found this small website with bunch others with same prob and they were explaning the importance of electrolyte balance in ur system ..
in short the balance b/w magnesium and calcium and b/w sodium and potassium keep ur heart beating properly .. prob is magnesium is found in whole grains and potassium in whole fruits and veges .. both of which r lacking greatly in modern diet .. so the inbalance causes skipping n arrythmia .. when i first started taking Mg/K i ws taking 2 much because i just followed what others recommended (those with more severe Mg/K deficiencies) .. important thing is to 'listen' to ur body because theres never a set amount for everyone when it comes to supplements .. everyones different ..
id ask u to try cutting out as much calcium and sodium from ur diet and see how u heart feels .. btw K(potassium) is what really keeps the proper beating but it wont work if u r Mg deficient .. again ur 'whole' body works 'wholistically' ..
