According to the news reports, you are indeed part of a union. From what I gather there are about 4000 Missouri parole officers in the union, along with about 14,000 janitors. According to your union leadership, your union dues funded anti-Bush activities in the recent election.

I find this fascinating.

Do you really value your paycheck that much more than you value your principles?

Personally I don't care if you are or aren't part of a union. But when someone talks the neo-con party line - and then joins a union to extort more money from taxpayers - especially when that someone appears to have never held a private sector job as an adult - I can't help but see the irony in the situation.
